9cm and 1 litre ranges

Kirton Farm Nurseries produce top quality 9cm and 1 litre herbaceous plants and herbs. 

The plants are ideally suited for Garden Centre sales, presented in a unique waxed fibreboard marketing box.  The box is used for both the 9cm and 1 litre ranges with a simple change of insert. All plants are fully labelled. 

The cottage garden plants are produced as both coir fibre and plastic pots in a 9cm size. The 1 litre range is all in coir fibre pots. There is a new range of culinary herbs available in the hairy coir fibre pots in both 9cm & 1 litre sizes.

The exclusive, coordinated backing board can be customized with your logo, pot prices or any other information. The backing board slots easily into the back of the tray and is supplied free with each variety ordered.

The waxed fibreboard tray is made from 100% recycled card and is itself recyclable. The box has a 'looking good' life expectancy of 6-10 weeks outside.

One of this spring’s innovations is our new in-house printed wooden pot labels which we use for the descriptive labels for the herbs and for general pricing and barcodes. They compliment the hairy coir pots beautifully.

At Kirton Farm Nurseries we balance ethical, environmental and commercial interests. As part of this approach we recycle and use recyclable products wherever possible, minimize water use through our use of sub irrigated sand beds and are founder members of SCION an organisation which ethically sources and trains legal immigrant workers.

Production

All plants are produced under the protection of net-sided tunnels on sub irrigated capillary sandbeds and are therefore in prime condition, yet fully hardy at despatch.

Our plastic pot range uses a reduced peat compost and the coir pots use peat free compost, both are specially blended and incorporate slow release fertiliser for long term plant nutrition.

Ordering & Delivery

Our ordering and delivery system remains as easy to use and as efficient as ever. An extensive availability list can be faxed to you over the weekend or on a Monday morning which means ordering is quick and simple. All orders received by Tuesday are delivered by the weekend. Regular deliveries ensure that your herbaceous displays can be well stocked with attractive plants all season.

Orders over 24 trays are delivered free within a 50 mile radius of Winchester and charges are negotiable for smaller orders or longer distances.

We can put together our own selection of high quality plants to meet your individual requirements. This means that you can easily stock your sales area with lines that are immediately saleable. Subsequent deliveries can be tailored to prevent overstocking of particular lines.

All collections come complete with full labeling and our colour pictorial backing boards.

Cash and Carry

Customers who only require small quantities of plants are welcome to come and pick out their own selection to a minimum value of £50 excluding VAT. Plants selected in this way will be charged at the under 1000 pot rate and payment will be required.
