Kirton Farm Nurseries Ltd are a wholesale nursery supplying herbaceous perennials to multiples, garden centres, growers and landscapers.

Kirton Farm Nurseries was established in 1984 to supply local garden centres and nurseries with high quality 9cm herbaceous plants for retail sales. The individual production units are designed specifically for the efficient production of high quality herbaceous plants for Spring sale. The design of the units has been refined over the seasons but the basic principals remain the same. All plants are grown on sub irrigated, capillary sandbeds under net sided tunnels which ensures high quality foliage and hardiness.

After 8 years of successful 9cm production an opportunity arose to set up a micropropagation laboratory. We initially planned to produce enough stock to meet our own nursery requirements but soon realised that the high quality plants produced could be marketed to other growers in the UK and Europe. In our on site laboratory we now grow a range of over 100 varieties and produce 600,000 plantlets a year. We can take advanced orders for the standard micropropagated range of young plants or customers can order from an availability list. We are able to develop and produce crops on a contract basis, please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Over the last couple of seasons we have moved into growing a wide range of 1, 2 & 3 litre herbaceous. The bigger pot herbaceous is grown on contract and all specifications are negotiable.

We continue to offer a range of top quality 9cm and 1 litre herbaceous to Garden Centres presented in our exclusive marketing trays.  Garden centres are encouraged to order from an availability list which is available on request.

You are invited to visit the nursery by appointment at any time. If you would like any information please do not hesitate to contact us either by email at nurseries@kirtonfarm.co.uk or by telephone on 01962 776493.

We look forward to meeting you and hope we can be of service to you.
